A role-drafting system for the social deduction game Mafia (the version played by Cornell Mafia Club). Compatible with both my manual moderation interface and Automod. By allowing players to pick their roles, it allows more varied gameplay without allowing metagaming or sacrificing depth. Never again will anyone complain about getting the same role over and over or always being evil.
Choose a role tier and number of players. One at a time, players type their name and get a few role options. They can take one of the options or risk it all with a random role. When all players have roles, the set of roles can be imported into the moderation interface or Automod (only if the Automod-only filter was toggled).
